About
The Zenplicity Coach began back in 2001, but it was originally called Clear Your Space. When I first started this business, professional organizing was my primary focus. Since then, I have learned more about myself through my clients & life experience and realized that helping others simplify & streamline their surroundings is my niche.
For a bit of background on me, I would like to share some of the things I did before becoming a professional organizer & simplify-your-life coach. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or want to know more.
I was a student (in Psychology) at the University of Michigan - Dearborn.
I was a cow milker (on a real, live dairy farm)
I was an administrative assistant for a national educational organization.
I worked at a paranormal store as a clerk (selling candles, incense & tarot cards).
I was a real estate assistant for about 5 minutes.
I worked as a pizza maker & video counter clerk as my very first job.
I worked as a technical recruiter recruiting others for jobs I didn’t understand.
Human Resources Generalist/Specialist
Operations Assistant for Michigan Humane Society
I am and always will be a writer … now getting paid for it is another story.
I attended school for & worked (and I mean WORKED) as a massage therapist.
I owned a pet sitting / dog walking service.
The bottom line is, I realized that no matter what I was doing as my “job”, I’ve been helping others get organized my entire life … anything from managing files, compiling stuff, purging closets, organizing cows, clearing out garages, to organizing bedroom drawers … it’s just what I’ve always done because I cannot stand seeing others suffer amidst their own piles of stuff. Seeing a clean & clear surface has always made me smile & feel happy inside, and seeing others enjoy their surroundings is even better.
To be able to share things about simplicity with you whether it’s in person, on the phone, over email or simply right here on this website, is something I am very excited about.
I believe organizing is always a part of the cleansing & clearing process, but with my methods, organizing has taken a back seat to simplifying, which in my opinion is a deeper & more meaningful path toward really cleansing your environment.
Are you ready to get zen & simple?
